Kid Convention is a day of fun and engaging hands-on activities for children and families where youngsters learn about the legislative process, government, and the importance of making their voices heard. I was fortunate enough to design for 3 of these events and i’m choosing to highlight the 2018 Kid Convention. The look for this is a nod back to the campaign designs of the early 60s. The Kennedy brothers always utilized bold colors and shapes in their campaigns, So it was fit to make a reprise at an event that celebrated the next generation of leaders. The design was able to pull through to digital signage all the way to button give aways.
